Contemporary Still Life &
Abstract Landscapes

My work is inspired by shape, found objects, plants and my local landscape in West Sussex, here in the heart of the South Downs National Park.  The light is vivid and the skies ever changing.  I paint both contemporary still life and abstract landscapes, sometimes purely abstract, but even this aspect of my work is strongly influenced by what shape is currently of interest and the local scenery.  l work largely from my home based studio.

I was educated at The Berkshire College of Art and Goldsmiths College, London.  As an artist learning is a way of life and keeps my work fresh.  I regularly attend workshops and exhibitions, paint with other artists and am always on the lookout for new inspiration.

Thanks for dropping by to look at my work, do get in

touch if you'd like any further information.
